Muslim Masjid is a beautiful architectural building, located outside the Lohari Gate and within the Walled City of Lahore. Lahori Gate is one of the thirteen gates of the Walled City of Lahore. The name also traces back its roots to the language of Urdu, in which, “Lohar” means Blacksmith. This could be another reason for naming it this way. However, there is no concrete evidence that blacksmiths had ever lived or worked here.
