This mosque was built during the reign of Shahjahan in 1635 A.D. (1045 A.H.) by Dai Anga, the wet nurse of Shah Jahan. Dai Anga’s real name was Zaib un Nisa. In Lahore, the decent monument is on the name Masjid Dai Anga at Railway station. To the left of the western hall of the side chamber, south of central hall an inscription showed the actual date of its construction: کتبہ ابراہیم سن 1045
