Zeb un Nisa was the poetess of Persian and a learned daughter of Emperor Aurangzeb. As mentioned in Shah Jahan Nama, she established gift this garden at Chauburji and gifted it. The farmer to her beloved Kaneez(maid)named Mia Ba. She laid out an extensive garden at the spot where the village of Nawan Kot was situated on later dates.
